Designloom - Print Portfolio

This project was an opportunity to use type as the main graphic element. The idea was to deliver the emotions of Khalil Gibran’s writing through text. The most obvious solution was to use some sort of reference to his ethnic background, however I chose to develop a gritty and textural feel that would evoke the emotions of his writing. The main text was carved out of wood and printed on paper and then scanned in.
