For SFSU, the main goal of the site redesign was to generate a solution that would fit within the new parent design the University had developed. While we had to account for that main structural treatment of the header and footer space, we had complete freedom to explore the content area. The college had asked us to consider a clean de- sign, that allowed for some sort of visual separation between the various departments within the college of creative arts. We solved this by utilizing each departments photography to bring out the best of the college in a very visual way.
